Merry Christmas and A Happy Birthday...

Christmas was fabu as always... It does get less 'exciting' the older the boys get, though... They did wake us up at 7 a.m. sharp, and the stockings & presents took about an hour for the boys to rip through... And then ZIP! they were in their rooms, playing fresh new video games.

Christmas was pretty much over at 8 a.m...

Sigh.

Having Tully's birthday fall on the day after Christmas is actually really great, though, as we always make the day super-fun - it lessens the anti-climaxtic after-Christmas feelings...

We had McDonald's for lunch and KFC for dinner, per Tully's request... He has a raincheck for dinner at Cracker Barrel (he was having too much fun at home with all of his new stuff, so the delicious down home cooking from Cracker Barrel will be had on another day!)

We also discovered that a bird had somehow gotten into the turtle enclosure:


TOTALLY bizarre because there is no easy way that the bird could have gotten into there - Shane thinks it was born in there... It was a pretty exciting rescue :)
